SOAR is a student-focused program, working with children who need an extra boost as well as those children who enjoy an extra challenge.

For those children who need an extra boost, SOAR is a program giving them the needed reinforcement in their daily work. They meet with the SOAR teacher several times a week, either one-on-one or in a small group of two or three.

For those children who enjoy the extra challenge, SOAR offers projects that include the areas of knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis and evaluation. These skills will help students to be more creative thinkers.

Students become part of the SOAR program through recommendation from their teacher. If you feel your child would benefit from the SOAR program, talk with your child's homeroom teacher so the teacher can make a recommendation - and watch your child SOAR!
